PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECTS
The projects presented here represent only a small fraction of Ajani Charles’ overall body of work, which spans numerous disciplines, industries, and international contexts.
Whether created in service of his many clients or developed as independent artistic inquiries, his photography-based projects reflect his goals, values, and creative expression.
A photographer since the age of twelve, photography remains one of Ajani’s most enduring and preferred mediums, even as his broader practice continues to expand across film, strategy, writing, and large-scale cultural initiatives.

Project T-Dot

Shanghai: A Living Study
This series of photographs forms part of an ongoing personal body of work by Ajani Charles documenting Shanghai, China, captured during the winter of 2012. The Shanghai project exists within a broader, long-term exploration of China, alongside similar personal projects focused on other regions and cities across the country.
